Barclare History

Barbara Hamilton founder, owner and manager of Bodies By Barclare Inc., has been working in the exercise and fitness field with women since 1972. Barbara purchased her first salon in 1972 and has been dedicated to improving physical fitness for women ever since.

Barbara saw a need for a type of exercise for women with health problems, like a bad back or joint problems, that might keep them from regular exercise. She worked on this concept for over four years and when she felt it was a sound program she opened a salon in Overland Park, Kansas in 1986. The concept has been improving and being refined ever since.

Barbara is always looking to the future to see how she can add to her already successful concept. She has developed an exercise program that anyone of any age or phsical condition can do in comfort with no pain.

The Barclare System can exercise and strengthen muscles. This can help in reshaping the body by lifting and tightening. It also increses circulation in the areas treated which helps to remove cellulite. The treatments are so relaxing that it is great for stress relief.
